SERVICES
In addition to producing independent programming, the Buffalo-Niagara LGBTQ History Project has worked with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and private businesses to educate audiences across Western New York.
Services the History Project provides include:
- Guest lectures in classrooms, webinars, or public speaking events
- Sharing “Gay Liberation NOW!”, a traveling exhibit tracing the history of Buffalo’s first gay rights organization
- Hosting a private walking tour for your organization or community group
- Developing curriculum to teach your class or organization about local LGBTQ history
- Providing consultation services for organizations seeking to erect a historic marker
To inquire about our services and rates, please email us at bflolgbtqhistory@gmail.com, or fill out the form below. Please note that service recipients will be asked to provide a donation to the Buffalo-Niagara LGBTQ History Project, commensurate with the scope of services provided. Additionally, if you wish to work with the History Project during LGBTQ Pride Month, which falls during June, we highly recommend that you make inquiries several months in advance.
